Episode 19 Plot: Yona's determination to join the pirates soon leads to Captain Gigan giving her a challenge to prove that she is worthy. Captain Gigan gives Yona the near impossible challenge of picking the Senjuso plant that grows on a cliff, and having to do the task alone. As Yona is scaling the cliff on the way back, a wave suddenly crashes up, nearly washing Yona out to sea. She grabs onto a tree root, however, and Jae-ha hurries over and pulls her up. Later, Yona admits to Captain Gigan that she had help from Jae-ha. Yona insists that she must go back and pick the plant again, but this time, with no help. Captain Gigan laughs it off, saying that Yona is worthy enough to join the pirates.
