Episode 3 Plot: Hak and Yona travel in the mountains to escape from the guards. Yona is dazed, unable to do even the simplest of tasks on her own. Hak finds Yona's hairpin and purposefully hides the hairpin, in hopes that Yona will forget the past. Despite Soo-won murdering her father, Yona still has residual feelings for him. She notices the hairpin is missing and wanders far from camp and into a snake pit. Getting bitten himself, Hak saves Yona, scolds her, and returns the hair pin.
