Episode 3 Plot: After being pestered by Menma, Jinta heads toward school, but changes his mind when faced with insults from Naruko's friends. He goes to see Tetsudou, who claims he saw Menma the previous night. Jinta arrives home where Menma had attempted to make muffins that Jinta's late mother used to make, though she claims she didn't go around Tetsudou's place the previous night. The next day, Tetsudou decides to hold a "Menma Search Party" barbecue event for the others. When Atsumu eventually appears, he also claims to have seen Menma.
