Episode 12 Plot: Kiyoshi starts having hallucinations and targets Ryouta with his homing-type BIM. Ryouta dodges the homing BIM only to be targeted by another, injuring his leg while he blames himself for Kiyoshi's ordeal. Supported by Himiko they are able to avoid Kiyoshi's attacks and he panics and flees. When Ryouta and Himiko go after him, Ryouta tries to apologize for his actions. Kiyoshi, feeling sorry for betraying them, commits suicide with a BIM when he becomes surrounded by the Kimodo dragons. As Ryouta mourns him, Himiko takes all the chips off of Kiyoshi and they return to their hideout. There, Himiko asks Ryouta to kill her so that he can leave the island but he refuses. Ryouta then finally recognizes Himiko as the person he knew from Btooom! and they both have an intimate exchange although Ryouta stops when he senses her fear, instead promising to date her for real when they return home. Elsewhere back on the mainland, several employees from Tyrannos Japan leave for the island when it is said there is mechanical problems on the island, while Tsuneaki Ida, one of the employees silently apologizes to Ryouta saying that it was the best he could do, perhaps a sign that Tsuneaki Ida did something to help Ryouta.
