Episode 46 Plot: The pitching duel between Nagao Akira and Narumiya Mei continues with neither team able to consistently get on base. Akira begins to lose his calm when Inashiro's batters begin to figure out his knuckle ball. Unfortunately it's right as Inashiro's cleanup batter, Harada, arrives. A home run gives Inashiro the lead, leading to an 8 run fourth inning, and Mei continues to strike out the side as Inashiro easily advances to the finals with a called game 11-0 after 5.
