Episode 12 Plot: The battle team infiltrates Xeno's tower, rescues Gen, and captures Xeno. Attempting to escape back through their tunnel, a mishap with Chrome's homemade bomb causes the tunnel to collapse on both sides, trapping Chrome with Xeno. As both sides try to free them, Xeno attempts to lure Chrome to his side after witnessing Chrome's intellect, but is refused. After being freed, Chrome radios Senku about their success. Meanwhile, the other Perseus spy, Max, frees Luna, plus Francois and Kaseki at Luna's request, before regrouping with the battle team, Senku and Ryusui. With their new advance party, the team hijack a small boat and Senku contacts Brody, Xeno's top mechanic. In exchange for an alliance with the Kingdom of Science to build a city in America by reviving 1 million people, Senku gives him the recipe for the revival fluid. Excited, Brody agrees with Senku's terms and frees the Perseus crew, but warns him that Stanley will likely hunt them across the world. As the boat approaches the Perseus, Stanley shoots at it and knocks off the Medusa placed on the front, believing Gen lied about it, and vows to hunt them down. After saying goodbye to their friends who are staying behind, the group heads to South America, the epicenter of the original petrification beam.
