Episode 52 Plot: As the battle continues, it seems neither warrior is going to win before Namek's explosion. Although Frieza is able to land some blows, it turns out that Goku is still stronger, and eventually gains the upper hand in the fight. Goku soon notices that Frieza's power is quickly decreasing, due to his 100% full power taking its toll on his body, and also due to the injuries that Frieza had suffered earlier. Satisfied that he has won, Goku decides to call it quits and begins to depart. Unable to accept this, Frieza launches a pair of heat-seeking ki disks at Goku. The Super Saiyan manages to avoid the disks, though Frieza tethers the disks' to Goku's heat signature, using them to chase him down. Eventually, however, Frieza is sliced in half by his own attack.
