Episode 2 Plot: Shirou goes to the Fuyuki Church with Rin, who had rushed to the Emiya estate after Lancer's attack. Shirou is told about the Holy Grail Wars by Kotomine Kirei, its overseer, and is shocked by what he hears; however, when he learns that the great fire 10 years ago, which he himself was injured in, was caused by the Holy Grail War, he decides to fight in it as a Master.
