Episode 38 Plot: Heavy snow falls upon the city of Edo. Otose’s voice rings through the winter wonderland, signaling the start of the Kabukicho Snow Festival! The highlight of the festivities is a snow figure-building contest with grand prize money. Entering the contest for the money, the Odd Jobs trio builds a snow figure claiming to be the “Neo Armstrong Cyclone Jet Armstrong Cannon.” Despite Shinpachi’s protests, everyone who visits the sculpture compliments its perfection. But Gintoki and Kagura, concerned over the other contestants’ works, begin sabotaging other snow figures.
