Episode 5 Plot: Inuyasha's flea youkai servant Myoga arrives, in which Kagome learns the truth about the deaths of Inu no Taisho and Izayoi, Inuyasha's father and mother, respectively. Revealing to be Inuyasha's half-brother, Sesshomaru, along with his imp youkai servant Jaken, confronts him, taking the revived Izayoi captive. Izayoi breaks free and takes Inuyasha and Kagome to a spirit world, where is it recognized that Izayoi's face does not reflect in water.
