Episode 17 Plot: Taiki has been told that he will soon have to choose the ruler of Tai. He begins to doubt himself when a kaikyaku girl begs him to send her home. Later, Lady Gyokuyou asks Keiki to come to Mount Hou and help the boy who still cannot change into his kirin form. Their first meeting goes badly but Keiki makes amends and transforms for Taiki to show him what his true form looks like. Keiki then help him in learning the powers that a kirin has over youma.
