Episode 9 Plot: Kasel and his friends arrive at a village devastated by the undead and take refuge in the house of Johann, Elise's father, and the sole survivor from the village. The group agrees to spend the night at Johann's house, believing they will have a better chance at surviving the undead during the day, but during the night, Kasel accidentally discovers Johann keeping his undead wife, Lisa, trapped in his basement. Johann reveals that he has been trying to help his wife regain her humanity so that they, and Elise, can be a family again, but comes to the realization that his wife is truly dead. As Kasel and his friends destroy the remaining undead, Johann reunites with Elise.
