Episode 24 Plot: After returning home, Migi appears in Shinichi's dreams and bids farewell to him, revealing that he will enter into a dormant state and may never awaken again. One year later, Uragami appears before Shinichi and takes Satomi hostage, thus he must fight him by himself to save her. Shinichi is stabbed in the arm as he rushes Uragami but manages to land a blow that knocks Uragami out, Satomi is knocked over the edge as this happens however. Shinichi runs to catch her but fails to grab her. Shinichi sobs and questions why bad things always happen at the end. Suddenly, Migi appears in his head and tells Shinichi he is tired of holding Satomi. Shinichi then see's his right hand was holding Satomi and pulls her back up relating the dog's burial incident.
