Episode 18 Plot: After parting ways with Jinshi in the city, Maomao returns home. There, she finds a courtesan bedridden with illness. Meanwhile, Jinshi, back in the palace, converses with the strategist Lakan, who shows an interest in Maomao, and through their conversation, Jinshi begins to realize his feelings towards Maomao.
