Episode 22 Plot: Susumu is scolded for making a mistake during a Magic Carat performance, and loses his confidence as a result. The other troupe members experience similar self-confidence issues, but things really fall apart when Susumu quits Magic Carat, and leaves their house. Mai's Grandparents discuss disbanding Magic Carat as a result, although the other members vehemently refuse. Eventually, Susumu, having thoroughly reassessed his mistake, returns home, and things return to normal.
