Episode 1 Plot: Young Arika Yumemiya travels to the Kingdom of Windbloom in search of her mother and in order to become an Otome. She soon becomes acquainted with Garderobe student Nina, Nina's foster father Sergay, and the rebellious princess Mashiro. A monster known as a Slave attacks Arika, Nina and Mashiro, but Meister Otome Shizuru Viola easily defeats it, impressing Arika and inspiring her to become an Otome.
