Episode 1 Plot: On the night of a crimson moon, a student named Mei Ayazuki stumbles upon a magic show hosted by a magician named Charlie, who invites her to participate in an act which will make her ‘disappear’. Mei agrees, and wakes up in an unfamiliar park, where she is greeted by two men, who invite her to a party held at the Rokumeikan, a building where major government parties are held. Mei is introduced to various men who resemble historical figures and eventually reunites with Charlie, who informs her that she has time traveled to the Meiji-era. While at the party, Mei is rescued from the police by a man named Ougai Mori, who claims that Mei is his fiancé.
