Episode 20 Plot: Tenma and Dieter hitch a ride with an elderly couple on the way to Freiham. Tenma wonders if the couple plan to turn him in when he realizes that the husband is a suspicious former police officer. He used to think that he could tell a criminal by their looks, but realized that it was not possible after his son committed a murder. The husband confirms that Tenma is a wanted criminal, however he believes that Tenma is innocent.
