Episode 2 Plot: An old ally of the Nura Clan visits to have a discussion about Rikuo's role as the future head of the Nura Clan. Zen is a yōkai with a weak constitution and a long-time supporter of the Nura Clan - their family has lent the Nura Clan their support in return for protection. He was also Rikuo's play-mate when he was little. Zen asks Rikuo about the leadership but he evades the question, explaining that he does not wish to become their leader and Zen leaves doubting the future of the Nura Clan.
