Episode 3 Plot: The battle between Ryuji and Rikuo begins. Ryuji uses his ultimate weapon and challenges Rikuo - if he can survive for three minutes, he wins. Rikuo manages to survive but is severely injured. Believing that Rikuo can't move as fast as before, Ryuji attacks him but it was a ruse and Rikuo counters. Mamiru suddenly attacks in order to protect Ryuji, but Rikuo's yōkai comrades appear to protect their master. Surprisingly, Ryuji gets up, surprised that he isn't wounded. He then realizes that Rikuo uses a sword that only cuts a yōkai. Before he and Mamiru leave, he tells Yura the purpose of his visit. After the battle, Yura asks Rikuo whether he is human. He replies that he is a human by day and a yōkai by night but still the same Nura.
