Episode 12 Plot: After being provoked by Mikhael and Sasha, Light releases one of the seals on his genesis-class weapon, the God Requiem Gungnir. It's super effective against the angels and destroys both the Angel Ocarina and the Blessing and Retribution shield. Mikhael tries to flee, but is stopped by the teleportation-jamming magic. They then fall into despair when their last hope, the other White Knights, are revealed to have already been defeated. After being betrayed by Mikhael, Sasha begs for her life and faces Light's judgment.
