Episode 10 Plot: Kousaku wakes up from a dream of being unable to escape Hibari ending up as his girlfriend. He finds a postcard from his best friend and eternal rival, Daisuke Itagaki, who is arriving later that day for a visit. Kousaku explains to Tsubame that their longest running competition was to see who would get a girlfriend first, with the loser having to shave their "entire bodies". Hibari offers to help Kousaku win by pretending to be his girlfriend, and Kousaku reluctantly agrees. When Itagaki first meets Hibari he refuses to believe she is Kousaku's real girlfriend and demands they prove they are dating by kissing. Kousaku tells Hibari to pretend to kiss, though this upsets Hibari as she wants him to really kiss her. They are interrupted by two thugs who try to steal Hibari. Kousaku tries to defend her but is injured, so Hibari beats up the thugs instead. Itagaki is finally convinced they are a real couple, even though Kousaku admits Hibari is not his girlfriend. Itagaki nonetheless hopes they will be a couple in the future and returns home. Kousaku realises he is growing used to being close to Hibari and tries to run away while she chases after him.
