Episode 4 Plot: Luftwaffe ace Gertrud Barkhorn is distracted by the state of her seriously injured younger sister, Christiane Barkhorn, and becomes apathetic towards Yoshika, who bears a resemblance to her. Yoshika is also lectured by Perrine H. Clostermann, out of jealousy of her familiarity with Mio. When a Neuroi threatens Barkhorn's home country, she attacks it alone and is saved from certain death by Yoshika. Yoshika explains to Barkhorn that she must protect as many people as she can. After defeating the Neuroi, Barkhorn is lambasted by Minna for her recklessness., and later decides to go visit Chris.
