Episode 9 Plot: As he arrives in Japan, Mutta remains concerned about the wills Hibito wrote before going outside to see the International Space Station in the sky. Later, he meets up with Kenji and Serika to celebrate making it to the third exam. The three talk about their motives for going into space, with Serika wanted to go on the ISS, despite the fact it will probably be shut down by the time she makes it to space. He hears from another colleague that she wants to carry on the dream of her late father to develop medicine to cure a disease, which can only be done on the ISS.
