Episode 11 Plot: Yozora brings up the upcoming matsuri festival but declines to attend due to crowds; Rika also demurs. When Sena mentions takoyaki, the entire club decides to go for the purpose of getting takoyaki which Kodaka is passionate about. As they walk to the festival, Kodaka and Kobato change into yukatas at Sena's request. Yozora declines to change into a yutaka, disappointing Kodaka. After changing, Sena finds Kobato attractive but also decides that Kodaka's hair ruins his appearance and wants him to dye it. Kodaka replies that he can't dye his hair color since it is a legacy of his deceased mother, impressing Sena. After having their fill of food, Yozora and Sena compete with each other at the games stalls while the other members enjoy the other stalls on their own. Later, everyone gets together to set off fireworks. After the last one is set off, Yozora's hair catches on fire, forcing Kodaka to throw a bucket of water on her to put it out. Soaked and humiliated, Yozora leaves and stays away from the club for the last week of summer vacation. On the first day of school back from vacation, Yozora arrives in class with her hair cut short. The change in appearance leads Kodaka to finally recognize her as his childhood friend, Sora.
