Episode 12 Plot: Yozora recalls how she recognized Kodaka as her childhood friend, Taka, the moment he transferred in. However, she was disappointed when he didn't recognize her. She was talking to her imaginary friend, Tomo-chan, about the problem when Kodaka walked in on her at the beginning of the anime. It was during their conversation about clubs that Yozora got an idea to form a club just for Kodaka and her, now the Neighbor's Club. Back in present, Yozora pulls Kodaka to the stairwell and reveals that she was Sora, his childhood friend. Kodaka is surprised given that he thought his childhood friend was a boy. Yozora blames Kodaka for disappearing on the day she wanted to reveal something important to him, which happened to be the same day that Kodaka wanted to tell her that he was moving. Yozora intended to come in a skirt and reveal her true gender but she was too embarrassed to walk out. She also gets him to keep the fact they were childhood friends from the rest of the club and just call her by her regular name. In the clubroom, everyone asks Kodaka who the person next to him is until Sena identifies her. Astounded by Yozora's new look, Rika gets her to dress up in a boy's uniform as Kodaka contemplates what will happen from now on.
