Episode 39 Plot: Pegasus' monster, Sacrifice, has captured Yuugi's Dark Magician, and his time bomb monster is ready to blow it to bits and take out what's left of Yuugi's life points. Jonouchi, Honda, and Anzu pull together to help Yuugi and protect Yami Yuugi from Pegasus' mind-reading. After having saved his Dark Magician, Yami Yuugi uses it to summon the powerful Magician of Black Chaos which helps lead him to victory. However before releasing the sealed souls, Pegasus slips away.
